For those in our hardiness zone, now’s the time to start your 8 week plants! For our garden, that includes Tomato, Eggplant, Pepper, two different kinds of Amaranth, Marigolds, Bee Balm and Canterbury bells. Wow, all that on just one week!
Growth Report:
Looks like some of our seeds have already germinated and are thriving quite happily. The Chives were the first to greet the world and they just keep going!
Onions weren’t too far behind, though not all of them have pushed up yet.
And what’s this little guy? Our very first sprout of Lavender!
There's nothing better for chasing away the winter blues than watching your little green babies start to grow and thrive and thinking of that beautiful spring day when it will be warm enough to plant them. If you haven't considered starting a garden yet your self this year, I highly encourage you to do so!
